Sita Samahit Sthal or Sitamarhi in Uttar Pradesh between Allahabad and Varanasi is the place on the banks of Ganga where Sita Mata goes underground after her exile in Valmiki Ashram.

Along with a very beautiful temple for Sita Mata, the devotees and temple trust have made a mesmerizing 108 feet statue of Hanuman jee above a temple situated in a cave .

The posture of the statue shows that Hanuman jee with his folded hands in the direction of Sita Maa Temple pleading her not to leave them and go underground and forgive everyone for their misdeeds.

As the surrounding area is covered entirely with trees, it was very difficult to find a place from where I could get the picture of entire statue of Hanuman jee. Finally I found one point from where I could take the picture of entire statue.
